The 7th International Satellite Navigation Forum

     The VII International Satellite Navigation Forum
is a central event of year in the field of the commercial use of satellite navigation technologies and, first of all, the GLONASS Russian navigation system.

     The main purpose of the Forum is to inform wide Russian and foreign audience about the state and planes of the development of satellite navigation systems, the government policy in the field of the commercial use of the GLONASS system in Russia and abroad, innovation technologies, up-to-date navigation equipment and services.

     The program of «The 7th International Satellite Navigation Forum» is final user of navigational products and services oriented. It highlights all the aspects of practical use in the purpose of succesfull business formation and raise of its effectivness.

     The attendees of the Forum will receive detail information on the legal aspects of the use of satellite navigation, will learn of commercially available navigation and navigation-communication equipment from leading Russian and foreign manufactures, of different industrial applications and the experience of leading companies in the practical use of navigation technologies, including business cases of the use of satellite navigation from the representative of the Russian business. During the section sessions and the round tables there will be the most topical information about the developed products, urgent problems in the field of navigation, cartography, legal normative regulation presented; the attendees will be able to share their propositions on the building of favorable conditions for the effective introduction of innovative technologies and to exchange their experience.

     On the first day of the Forum, on ending the plenary session, all the visitors are invited to round tables that will cover the most topical issues of the development of the navigation service market in Russia.
     The questions connecting with the features of the Russian service mass market and the prospects for the expansion of the Russian satellite technologies and products into foreign markets will be considered.
     During the round tables the questions on the development of the smart insurance market will be discussed, now available and prospective services for motorists, pedestrians, passengers of public transport will be analyzed. The separate round table will be devoted to the future of navigation and navigation technologies.
     On the second day there will be specialized section sessions during which the attendees will be able to make their proposals on the forming of favorable conditions for the effective introduction of innovative technologies and to exchange their experience.
     The Forum will be attended by more than 100 speakers from Russia, CIS and non-CIS countries, representatives of ministries and departments, private companies, foreign and international organizations.
